Les Misérables - Original Broadway Cast Recording

The music from the original Broadway production of Les Misérables, by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg - with English lyrics written by Herbert Kretzmer. Based on a book by Victor Hugo. The musical first opened in Paris in 1980, and in 1985 it was brought to London. On March 12, 1987, Les Misérables premiered on Broadway. This CD was recorded at Power Station (New York) between March 16 and 20th, 1987.
