Keith Burns[Biography] [Pictures]
Keith Burns was born in Liverpool (United Kingdom) and graduated in 1984 from Mountview Theatre School. After touring Sweden - appearing in The Threepenny Opera and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, he later went on to play the part of Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar at Stafford (as well as the part of Judas in the successful UK tour). For a few months, Keith was on the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show. He was also in the Vienna production of Carmen, and in 1988 he could be seen as Gus in the movie Necromancer.
Keith played Montparnasse in the original London production of Les Misérables (1985-1986), but has also played the parts of Marius, Babet (1986) and Enjolras (1992-1993) - all in London. He was also on the ensemble of the Les Misérables Complete Symphonic Recording (1988). In the 10th Anniversary Concert Keith reprised the part of Montparnasse.
Keith has also appeared in the London productions of Miss Saigon (1989) and Cats (1993-1994), and starred as The Narrator in several productions of Blood Brothers in London, as well as the UK tour. He was also in Merrily We Roll Along at the Shaftesbury Theatre.
