Hannah Louise Chick was born in August 1984 in Hayes, Middlesex (UK), and went to Sylvia Young Theatre School in Marlebone. She made her stage debut in 1992, in Les Misérables at the Palace Theatre (London), where she played young Cosette (she was also in the 1993 & 1996 productions). In 1995 she was also chosen to play the part in the 10th anniversary concert.
She later starred in Oliver! at the London Palladium. In 1998 she played the part of Lucy in the musical The Goodbye Girl (alternating with Sophie McShera), at the Theatre Royal Bath. She also played Zoey in Just One Word (Cochrane Theatre, London) and Young Baby Jane in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane (Theatre Royal, Brighton).
In 1994 Hannah appeared as Dame Hannah at The Royal Variety Performance (Dominion Theatre, London). She was also in The Children´s Royal Variety Performance, and played the part of Kate in Say It In English.
She has also done several TV appearances, including playing the part of Shirley Temple in The Paul Daniels Christmas Show, Dagley’s child in Middlemarch, young Germaine Greer in Without Walls and Tiny in Playdays. Hannah has also been on the Michael Barrymore Show - AND done a lot of television commercials and voice-overs.
Hannah is a graduate from the London Studio Center, and in 2005 she was part of the ensemble in the musical The Far Pavillions at the Shaftesbury Theatre. She has also played Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods (Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford & Bloomsbury Theatre, London) and appeared in Catch a Rising Star (Pizza on the Park).
