Peter Jöback is one of Sweden's biggest musical stars, and I first saw him in March in London as The Phantom (in The Phantom of the Opera). I really liked the idea of a musical concert with Peter Jöback, and when I heard Norm Lewis (whom I missed as Javert in London in 2010...when he was replaced by an understudy) I decided to book a ticket! However later I found out Norm had dropped out of the show, which made me rather sad..until I heard Michael McCarthy would be taking his place! Michael is one of my all-time-favourite musical performers! I saw him in Sweeney Todd in Concert in 2008 and was very impressed by his talent! So while it would have been nice to finally get to see Norm live, I'm still happy I got to see Michael again!

This really was Peter's show, and he did a really great job! I was impressed by him really playing the part of every song he sang instead of "only" singing. My favourites were the songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd and Miss Saigon.

Ma-Anne had a really beautiful sweet voice and was great in Last Night of the World and I know Him So Well.

Katy was really great ! She was a lovely Christine, one of the best voices for Cosette ever, and also did great in I Know Him So Well. I truely loved her duet with Michael (from Sweeney Todd).

Michael is without a doubt one of my favourite musical performers and it was just amazing to get to see him live again! Would love to see an entire concert with him, or another musical! I liked him a lot in the songs from Les Misérables, as well as Man from La Mancha. Powerful voice, and also quite a funny guy! (There was a great moment where he was first was introduced, and he came out talking about how he had done some research as he didn't know much about Swedish musicals, and had found this "cute little balad" he wanted to sing. This turned out to be Peter's big hit from Kristina (Guldet blev till sand), which really upset Peter since it's HIS song! Very funny! (of course it was planned, but it was still really funny to see). And yes - Michael's version of the song was awesome!

The songs from Les Misérables were of course my big favouruites in this concert - after all it IS my favourite musical. Of course Ma-Anne sang On My Own and Michael sang Stars. Then all four of them sang One Day More, which was pretty cool since it's usually sang by a lot more people! I wondered how they would pull it off, but it turned out really awesome! Peter sang the parts of Marius and Thénardier, Michael sang the parts of Valjean, Javert and Enjolras, Katy sang Cosette and Mme Thénardier and Ma-Anne sang Eponine and Mme Thérnardier.

This concert was amazing! All four stars were great (also really liked the conductor a lot!)! While my favourite was Michael, I liked the other three a lot too. A truely amazing concert!
